I did not keep my kids' cord blood. What can I do?

For autism, cord blood is not the only type of stem cell that has been tested in human clinical trials. Another cell type that has been found to be beneficial for autism is mesenchymal stromal cells, known as MSC. One of the best features of MSC is that they do not require tissue typing like cord blood. In other words, any healthy person can be a donor. For this reason, many clinics are offering MSC to patients.
There are different sources of MSC and different laboratory procedures to culture MSC, and no standards have been developed in this field yet, so the clinics differ from one another in various parameters. I will address those differences in the chapter
